Seasonal Breakdown
Sri Lanka has two main monsoon seasons. Danigala is located in the dry zone, meaning it gets less rain than the hill country, but timing is still crucial.
Best Season (Jan - March)
Dry, slightly cooler, and less chance of rain. Great for visibility.
Shoulder Season (April, August - Sept)
Can be very hot. April is humid. August usually brings inter-monsoonal dry spells.
Wet Season (Oct - Dec)
North-East monsoon. Heavy rains make the rock dangerous. Not recommended.
Current Dry Zone Climate
Expect average temperatures between 28°C - 34°C.
